About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing planning team by providing structural coaching, career sponsorship, and performance development to drive sustained growth and operational excellence.
  • Manage the product portfolio at a macro level to identify system-wide risks, mitigate resource bottlenecks, and minimize excess and obsolescence across the ecosystem.
  • Drive AI transformation and critical infrastructure enhancements, including o9 and SSOT development, to automate workflows and scale for high-volume product launches.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders through Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) leadership to synchronize forecasts, supply allocation, and operational execution across a matrixed organization.
  • Oversee core success metrics, including inventory health, material spend, and gross margins, ensuring consistent delivery of business value and organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
