Senior Central Program Manager, Custom Silicon Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry with custom silicon manufacturing, foundry operations, or OSAT operations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in program management within the semiconductor industry, with custom silicon manufacturing, foundry operations, or OSAT operations.
  • Experience in working with executive leadership (e.g., directors, Vice Presidents, Chief of Staff, etc.).
  • Ability to manage cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation with the ability to collaborate and build consensus across teams.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will serve as a representative to the Chief of Staff for Google Silicon and the Central Director of Supply Chain Operations, acting as a bridge between initiatives and operational execution within the custom silicon supply chain. You will be instrumental in driving cross-functional alignment, communicating updates, and ensuring the smooth flow of information and decision-making across ecosystem of foundry and Outsourced Assembly and Test (OSAT) partners, internal engineering teams, and supply chain stakeholders. You will have an understanding of silicon manufacturing and supply chain operations, coupled with communication and program management skills. You will also help in scaling operations and promoting team's culture.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the Custom Silicon Sourcing and Operations team in Taiwan and Google Custom Silicon Operations leadership, translating directives into programs and delivering executive-level reports.
  • Manage programs across the custom silicon supply chain, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure product introductions and deliverable completion.
  • Identify and resolve communications bottlenecks, implement process improvements, monitor metrics and proliferate strategies to improve team effectiveness and business.
  • Promote an environment by advocating knowledge sharing, learning, and a culture of communication and problem-solving.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, coordinating planning sessions, negotiating requirements, and escalating issues.
