Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 5 years of experience leading cross functional projects and initiatives.
  • 2 years of experience in people management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in global teams or within global roles.

About the job

The Global Commercial Enablement team within GTM is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products (from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and business growth).

In this role, you will play an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing the Global Business Organizations (GBO) business skills to ensuring execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities. GTM has teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as in global teams that work across the business areas.

This team supports the Market Intelligence Team and is responsible for running the strategy and operations to enable the creation, synthesis and socialization of market intelligence that accelerates decisions and helps Google compete. You will collaborate with cross-functional relationships across Ads Product Management, GBO, Marketing and more.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$270,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally within GTM and with Product teams and Marketing to create and socialize the market intelligence which accelerates Google’s ads business and manage the team.
  • Integrate insights from multiple research sources and turn them into intelligence to influence product and commercialization strategy.
  • Lead the projects that are operationally intensive and cross-functional to ensure there is structure and timely delivery of project goals.
