Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with front-end and user interface development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in frontend development using Angular, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with backend development using Go or other server-side languages.
- Ability to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.

As a Software Engineer, you will develop the design system and frontend building blocks for P2020 and the Google Production Platform (GPP).

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain our design system, which includes a library of shared web components and design patterns.
- Develop and maintain common shared components and infrastructure that will be used across all tools within the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Production 2020 organization (go/p2020) and beyond.
- Provide technical guidance and support to individual teams within the Production 2020 organization.
- Advocate accessibility and performance by ensuring that our shared components and design patterns meet the highest standards.
- Focus on frontend development and contribute to our backend infrastructure.
