Marketing Manager, Platforms and Ecosystems (Fixed-Term Contract) (German, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in go-to-market strategy. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, provide breakthrough thinking and strategy, delivering large-scale or multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in project management, overseeing multiple projects in dynamic environments with cross-functional teams, and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop new approaches to marketing tests and effectively solve problems, combined with comfort in audience segmentation, channel selection, and campaign measurement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated talent in building collaborative partnerships internally and externally, and comfort in presenting to executive audiences.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

Our team is dedicated to driving the successful launch and growth of Android Platform and product/features in the market. Our core mission is to translate deep market understanding and product insights into impactful marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and executing partner marketing strategy, maintaining the strong day to day relationship with the partner to developing and executing impactful co-marketing campaigns to drive success across the entire funnel.
  • Drive partner marketing strategy and plans for the high priority partners in collaboration with relevant Google teams.
  • Develop and execute the full co-marketing campaign strategy and plans, including TV, OOH, press, digital media, in-store, partner homepage, social and other placements working closely with the partner, agency and relevant internal teams.
  • Build and manage the daily marketing relationships with partners.
  • Promote the Google brand within partner executions. Represent our partners in internal forums.
