Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
- Experience in C++ and Go language programming.
- Experience in Databases and Analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in collaborating with multiple teams and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).

Database Insights is one of the core pillars of Gemini for Database Manageability. In this role, you will be responsible for AI-assisted Query and System Insights for AlloyDB and CloudSQL which empowers users to quickly understand, troubleshoot and optimize their databases.

Responsibilities
- Design and build high quality, next generation Intelligent Agent for Database Insights leveraging Large Language Model (LLM) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for AlloyDB and Cloud SQL. Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems.
- Partner with Engineering teams or customers to support database manageability. Provide operational support with minimal supervision for production incidents.
- Partner closely with Product Management, UX and other Google Engineering teams to create, drive and deliver an innovative, compelling and user-friendly experience to our customers.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Improve the operational health of systems by identifying and implementing systemic improvements.
