Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product or program management, data-driven analysis and reporting.
  • Experience implementing technical solutions and managing the product development life-cycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience manipulating data sets using SQL, and a passion for converting data into insights to drive decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize business objectives and drive alignment across a network of stakeholders including both business and technical partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate clear problem statements, define key outcome metrics, and leverage both data and stakeholder feedback to evaluate solution tradeoffs.
  • Excellent project management, relationship management and change management skills.

gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google's Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

As a part of the GCS Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) organization, you will provide business critical problem-solving insights, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams to drive global initiatives forward within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) to makes sure Google's ever-evolving business runs smoothly and scales. As an expert in leading process improvements and consistency, you will have a pragmatic sense of how to get things done, developing initiatives to deliver customer success and setting high-level goals to improve productivity.

You will empower GCS to grow customers globally by delivering solutions through technology and operational excellence by partnering closely with GCS business teams and first and third-party technology partners to deliver excellent products and solutions for GCS's wide array of users: account managers and executives, specialists, managers, operational partners and strategy teams, while staying laser focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and helping evolve early stage ideas into future feature initiatives.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000-$213,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Building knowledge of GCS's users, customers, workflows, and initiatives while expanding understanding of technologies spanning AI, data concepts and UX/UI to devise and implement technologies.
  • Identify gaps in tools and infrastructure, prioritizing and crafting business cases to validate the importance of new feature requests.
  • Articulate business requirements to product management and engineering teams and influence the quarterly/annual roadmap to address them, while articulating a goal for your area, where we need to improve now and where we want to go in our longer term roadmap.
  • Partner with leadership and stakeholders to understand business needs, build consensus, and communicate needs through business requirement documents while collaborating with product teams on design sprints, requirement documents, and pilots.
  • Develop launch plans and manage launches including milestone setting, communications, acceptance testing, training and operations.
