- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
- Experience working with product management or engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in planning, buying and reporting, or selling, digital advertising.
- Experience in advertising product development and commercialization (including uncovering needs of stakeholders/customers/users, synthesizing market feedback to influence product roadmaps, and communicating with both business and technical collaborators, including executives).
- Familiarity with the cross-media planning and measurement ecosystem.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing highest impact work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to build persuasive data supported business cases.

This role sits in the YouTube+ Global Product Solutions team, with a mission to fuel innovation that keeps YouTube and Video free and accessible to the world by effectively monetizing YouTube with advertisers. Customers make media decisions in a consistent cycle of planning, buying and measurement where they aim to create the best possible campaigns to meet their marketing and business objectives with Google.As the Video Buying Experiences Global Product Solutions Lead, you will work with partners in the Ads Planning, Video Buying (AWV) and Ads Measurement organization to help simplify and improve the way advertisers make decisions as part of this holistic cycle. In this role, you will focus on initiatives that improve or connect stages of the planning, buying and reporting cycle for video media in Google Ads and improve the buying flow and experience for all YouTube customers. Finally, you will look towards emerging trends for the future of advertising planning, buying and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Gather, synthesize, and prioritize insights, feedback and research to inform product prioritization related to YouTube’s buy flow experiences. Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline the experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deeply understand user and business needs related to YouTube’s buying experience in our tools.
- Ensure YouTube’s core media solutions, across Premium and Scaled are supported with buying and implementation workflows and are well connected to planning and measurement flows.
- Quantify success via the creation of product adoption goals, customer Satisfaction, user time saved to ensure buyflow improvements are translating into measurable value. Lead beta tests for evolving products/features to enable achievement of milestones by coordinating seller/advertiser participation and engagement.
- Develop global activation plans, training, templates/narratives, product roadmaps, and other business materials to drive product/feature awareness and adoption.
