As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and collect data to produce actionable business insights and recommendations for executive leadership, run ongoing and ad-hoc analyses in support of business objectives and operational effectiveness, and as input to key planning and business operations processes.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to solve complex business challenges across the engineering organization. Drive change, influence decision making, and lead adoption of key business processes.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into clear and measurable objectives and actionable processes/programs, analyze organizational and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and increase cross-functional alignment.
  • Define and measure performance on key processes and success criteria, and establish necessary program governance, to enable business execution and efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners and stakeholders, represent engineering's business needs and influence software and process development decisions.
