- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
- Experience working with digital organizations.
- Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with senior leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with television or social planners/buyers, brand developers, and agencies.
- Experience in video solutions, including knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Experience with project management, leading complex strategic and operational initiatives.
- Ability to manage an operational cadence around Retail’s YouTube/Video business pacing and pipeline.
- Excellent problem solving skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and clear communication.

As a Video Lead on our Retail Specialist team, you will lead video strategy and activation to deliver growth across retail verticals. You drive accountability to the business by persistently exploring and uncovering business opportunities, developing industry go-to-market plays and partnering with teams to grow our YouTube business across Awareness, Performance, Social, and Shopping solutions. You will need to anticipate how decisions are made, where our video products fit in and collaborate with our Sales teams to drive growth.
In this role, your knowledge of traditional and online media, combined with your team player mentality and business drive, will shape how our existing video business grows. You provide Google-caliber client service, shaping the Retail video strategy focused on our customer’s business objectives. You bring a passion for YouTube and video advertising solutions that inspires and motivates both internal and external stakeholders.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales teams to provide YouTube business growth driving support, through deep industry/business knowledge, product expertise and go-to-market strategy.
- Close high growth annual video agreements to deliver against customers’ business objectives, unlocking commercial and strategic value.
- Project manage key video initiatives and communications to ensure consistent and well executed deployment at scale.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders across sales and product based on business rationale, advertiser needs and business growth opportunity for the sector.
- Represent product gaps and opportunities to accelerate business opportunity.
