Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory.
- Experience in compliance operations or strategy, program management, risk assessments, common controls frameworks, and process design or mapping.
- Experience in managing programs with multiple stakeholders, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally, navigating ambiguity while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, and thinking skills with attention to detail in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
About the job
The News Partnerships Compliance Operations team is responsible for shaping the strategy, motivating cross-functional alignment, and enabling execution for Google’s compliance related initiatives in the News ecosystem.Responsibilities
- Motivate day-to-day management for News Partnerships Compliance requirements, serve as a partner to News Partnerships (NP) Leadership.
- Enable end-to-end execution for News Compliance across respective markets.
- Own the delivery of News Compliance, provide insights and manage escalations to support ongoing compliance needs and operational improvements.
- Motivate process improvement on internal communications and management processes.
