Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++ and Python, and with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience with the use of deep learning for computer vision or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience in developing, deploying, managing, and maintaining Machine Learning infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience in machine learning, building/training AI models, back-end data infrastructure, or data engineering.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Zagreb LearnX team is focused on building the robust and scalable AI solutions that fuels Google's innovative learning products. Our work extends beyond building the foundation. We collaborate across Google to enhance the learning experience on different Google products, with a particular focus on STEM education. Our technology is used in Google Search and Google Lens for scanning and solving printed and handwritten math problems instantly, providing users with step-by-step explanations that are both accurate and intuitive.

Responsibilities
- Research, develop, plan and implement Machine Learning software solutions.
- Integrate education AI capabilities to Google products, with a focus on model quality.
- Work with other team members to build upon our data collection, storage, and processing infrastructure.
- Propose new ideas how AI can improve our products and internal processes and systems.
- Conduct research and implement solutions by following best practices of software engineering and maintaining high accuracy and scientific principles.
