As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Camera System Software Technical Program Manager, you will manage our Android camera system software projects that are built for Google Pixel phone success. You will drive the planning, execution, cross-team/product area collaboration of the design, development, bringup, testing and deployment of new software stack on various of different industry SoCs, and ship best world's best camera feature sets in the Pixel phone products.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
  • Lead the end-to-end technical program management for flagship Pixel camera software from concept through global product launch. Navigate ambiguity to align engineering roadmaps across highly interdependent, organizations including device core software, Android, silicon, and technical engineering.
  • Own the technical delivery of the flagship camera hero features. Define milestones, identify architectural bottlenecks, and manage complex cross-functional dependencies across silicon, firmware, and application layers to ensure on-time, high-quality launches.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate system-level risks, technical trade-offs, and resource constraints to leadership and engineering stakeholders before they impact critical milestones.
  • Advocate strategic AI initiatives to optimize the camera software development lifecycle, driving team-wide efficiency and scalable engineering capacity.
