Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • 2 years of experience in consulting with tech or media company projects.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience with problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating findings to executive management.
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executives.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to develop and understand strategy.

YouTube's Business Operations team is a center of excellence for trusted and streamlined business operations and drives people strategy and culture across YouTube’s Business Organization.

As a Central Strategy and Operations Manager, you will work closely with Business Organization leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to support YouTube’s Business Organization people strategy and culture.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead, launch, and land global, strategic, and operational project work streams to help drive organizational goals (e.g., career development, organizational design, talent mobility, location strategy, execution improvement).
  • Develop comprehensive strategies that solve complex business challenges and address the needs of stakeholders across various functions to improve operations or organizational sentiment.
  • Identify problems and issues across the organization, create programs and processes to solve them, and influence cross-functional teams and leadership to bring them to life.
  • Conduct data analysis and develop insights to help leadership identify opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to executive leadership by preparing and delivering executive-ready materials.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to push projects forward, driving recommendations through to implementation.
