Staff Solutions Consultant, Compliance Programs

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with internal, external, or regulatory body auditors.
  • Experience with common controls and regulatory frameworks for Medical Devices, or Hardware Safety.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
  • Experience with adding structure in a complex, and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent investigative skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and programs within team scope, including planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Serve as subject matter expert and single point of contact within Devices, Services, Platforms, Ecosystems (DSPE) Customer Support product vertical for Global Compliance Operations. Manage and execute support and tooling initiatives on behalf of compliance operations within the organization.
  • Be responsible for driving programs, covering compliance programs, tooling changes, and post-market surveillance monitoring for Google hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges and implement solutions.
  • Help generate metrics to measure process effectiveness and provide cross-functional partner insights. Participate in quarterly business reviews with partners to formulate risk mitigation solutions, with minimal guidance.
