Software Engineer III, Chrome Tooling

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in test automation.
  • Experience with C++.
  • Experience developing with TypeScript.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug tagging issue on websites using developer tools (e.g. Chrome Devtool).
  • Excellent debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Design and implement innovative approaches to tooling on the Web by integrating cutting edge AI capabilities.
  • Design and implement scalable cloud services at Google scale.
  • Streamline common web development workflows and address developer pain points with regard to Web development.
  • Be directly involved in the development of the latest Web technologies.
  • Perfect products with millions of users to deliver great developer experiences.
