Program Manager, Waze Marketing

Waze Marketing is responsible for creating the overall Waze experience starting with the brand, messaging, communications, design, social media, multi-media and more. As part of the product team, we work side by side with R&D to initiate and create new projects and products. We strive for simple, leveled up communications and excellent brand management. We are looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial edge, and a strong inclination towards design and visual.

As a Program Manager for the Waze Product Program team, you will shape how users engage with the Waze brand through in-app content. You will be creating impactful user experiences and collaborating effectively with product and engineering teams and develop operational plans for projects. You will collaborate closely with product teams to ensure content aligns with product roadmaps and user journeys. You will be working cross-functionally, and contribute to the overall goals for Waze's product programs, ensuring they meet key business objectives, leveraging market research and cultural insights. You will design content programs and set goals that support Waze priorities. You will plan goal alignment, content strategy, experimentation, timelines, creative development, agency or vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful program outcomes. You will be an advocate of creative excellence and brand consistency, and inspire both internal and external teams to deliver exceptional work, and will manage global web properties and digital products. Your experience in managing global web properties and digital products will be essential in this role.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define content program objectives, prioritize
    initiatives, and secure cross-functional support across product, engineering and marketing teams by effectively communicating the value of content programs to the user experience and Waze overall goals.
  • Drive the creation of high-impact content by proactively identifying  
    resource needs and establishing robust operational frameworks to facilitate the production of innovative and engaging content across all formats (text, images, videos, etc.). 
  • Work closely with creative, producers and implementation partners to ensure seamless content integration, alignment with the product roadmap, and a cohesive user experience.
  • Track key metrics to measure content effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize content for user engagement and retention.
  • Keep content fresh by regularly updating content strategy, campaign information, recommending new features, and responding to user feedback and evolving program needs.
