About the job

The Data Center team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department -- cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you work on complex construction delivery topics.

Through your leadership, you use your technical expertise to lead cross-functional teams to develop infrastructure improvements. Involved in shaping Global Data Center strategies and responsible for regional implementation, you will balance big picture thinking. As a Regional Director at Google, you lead high performing teams that deliver complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects that require extensive engineering and project management expertise. Working with regional partners, our global design and construction teams, you will develop innovative and scalable solutions.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.
