GenAI Health Information Quality Clinical Specialist, Google Health

Minimum qualifications:

  • Clinical degree (e.g., PharmD, DNP, MD, DO, MBBS, etc.), and at least 3 years of clinical experience after the completion of clinical degree.
  • Experience with health information quality evaluation, especially in the consumer health and clinical space.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams that include non-clinical team members (e.g., engineering, product management, or information technology R&D teams).
  • Experience in evaluating generative AI outputs, including safety approaches and either peer-reviewed publications or launched products based on the technology.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing quantitative evaluation pipelines (SQL, Python-based statistical or epidemiological analysis, etc.).
  • Experience in launching a digital health product from concept to market or clinical use.
  • Knowledge in health information quality or Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Trained in specialty or subspecialty for a physician.

In this role, you will be a contributor to Google's work by developing tools and platform capabilities focused on Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and health information quality. You will utilize not only your clinical expertise and knowledge of the product development life-cycle but also your excellent listening, communication, and leadership skills to appropriately shape the content, design, evaluation and scaled implementation of products and platform capabilities.Google Health is a company-wide effort to help billions of people be healthier. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate health related Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) by providing benefits to people's health as well as potential issues related to safety, health literacy, and health equity.
  • Maintain competency with the technical and ecosystem landscape of Generative AI and health information quality, and translate this into user-focused product requirements.
  • Lead and respond to the needs of the business by prioritizing the projects.
  • Provide guidance, insights and direction on health information quality for Google’s health focused products and platforms by working with product and research teams.
