Product Manager, Applied AI, Customer Experience, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of product management experience.
  • 2 years of experience developing new and evolving features for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Experience in the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), or enterprise communication solutions space.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly in areas related to natural language processing (NLP), speech recognition, virtual agents, or conversational AI platforms.
  • Experience successfully managing complex web and mobile app projects from inception to launch.

Cloud's Applications organization is focused on creating a comprehensive portfolio of AI-powered applications. Building on Google Cloud's infrastructure and platform strengths, the introduction of Gen AI provides a unique opportunity to expand into the SaaS market. The Applied AI team is developing AI-driven applications with low/no-code tools and out-of-the-box solutions to help business users achieve greater success and drive business impact.

In this role, you will specialize in CCaaS and Conversational AI, defining the future of customer engagement. You will define product strategy, leading the roadmap, and delivering solutions that utilize Google’s AI, ML, and cloud infrastructure capabilities. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, research teams to introduce innovative products and guarantee their market success.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define and detail product requirements and specifications based on ideation, market research, feature evaluation, use cases, target audience, and scope definition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, UX, engineering, and other product managers to refine project scope and requirements, preparing cross-functional teams for new projects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for CCaaS and Conversational AI, both internally and externally, including representing Google at industry events and with analysts.
  • Manage requirements and work with design, engineering, QA, and go-to-market teams to deliver new features, enhancements, and products.
  • Oversee multiple projects from inception to release, ensuring clear product requirements and understanding across teams, facilitating scrum meetings, and verifying adherence to specifications and goals.
