Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business planning, business development, and evaluating, incubating, and launching technologies or innovations within a business.
  • Experience in the Travel or Hospitality industry, with an emphasis on technology and innovation.
  • Experience owning or influencing product roadmaps for consumer applications, e-commerce, data analytics, or technology solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation or programs in the Travel or Hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing C-level relationships in the Travel or Hospitality industry, or recognized as an industry leader.
  • Experience in performance with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience working in environments that require attention to detail; entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, collaborative, with a passion for and understanding of Google products.

About the job

As part of an entrepreneurial team in this growing business, you will help support the future of the Travel and Hospitality industry, leveraging Cloud, Data and AI/ML capabilities to connect with customers, employees and partners.

In this role, will be the point-of-contact for growing Google Cloud’s business in the most transformational Travel and Hospitality (T&H) accounts globally. You will be responsible for collaborating with our global GTM and Sales organizations to win and develop business at leading and innovative T&H companies, helping to bring the industry transformation value proposition to life. You will use their domain expertise and analyze industry trends to inform product roadmaps, further the GTM design, and coordinate as needed for emerging products. You will engage with key industry customers and partners to provide unique domain expertise, co-design solutions, and manage product development processes necessary for new-to-world AI-based solutions.

You will work as part of the Consumer Industries team (including Telecom, Media, Games, Retail and CPG) and will collaborate with key customers, Google partners, and internal teams, serving as a subject-matter-expert regarding industry-specific needs, explaining how Google’s offerings address those needs while providing a platform for innovation to Google's customers. You will advocate the innovative power of the products to accelerate business transformation within Travel & Hospitality.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with a critical set of Travel and Hospitality customers, influence and implement an account planning and go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud to drive significant business growth.
  • Influence and provide leadership to an outstanding commercial (i.e., client-facing) cross-functional team with impressive entrepreneurial skills honed in executive positions.
  • Orchestrate, with global alliance partners, teams for effective solution creation and serve as the industry liaison for other Google products.
  • Meet and exceed testing growth goals by establishing and expanding relationships with large customers and business partners, and delivering proof of concepts.
  • Contribute to the evolving Google Cloud business and product strategy.
