Worked better before the last 2 updates. The only feature I use is the Accessibility Button that is in the lower right of my phone. When I tap it now the Accessibility Menu does not pop up like it did before 2 updates ago. I was hoping the latest update would fix that bit it didn't. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S24 phone.

Talkback is a disappointment. Yes, it is incredibly beneficial for the blind, restoring basic function, and in that sense, it's a success as an accessibility feature. However, as the only built-in text to speech option for android, it is an incredible failure. There are more use-cases for text to speech than just reading every title, widget, icon, and finally textbox on the screen. Those features that are great for the blind make it utterly unusable for everyone else.

I'm pretty sure this is being used for malicious reasons. It has some wonderful features for those who need it. But I believe security-wise some things have been overlooked or ignored because my device shows usage of features I have never used in my Chrome logs. I've never used a switch device or know how. So I'm not positive about this, but based on odd things happening on my device that shouldn't and finding that, I believe features can be used for device access. And not just your own.
